Nexos delivered end-to-end EPC for Zero Petroleum breakthrough synthetic fuel facility, engineered for scale, built for a cleaner future.
Zero Petroleum’s carbon-neutral synthetic fuel has already proven its potential, having been successfully piloted in projects such as RAF jet flights and Formula 1 races. To move towards commercial rollout, the company needed to develop a First-of-a-Kind mass production facility capable of meeting growing demand while maintaining strict environmental standards.
In March 2023, Zero Petroleum partnered with Nexos to construct Plant Zero.1. The project scope included rapid design and engineering, integration with existing infrastructure to reduce costs and streamline operations, and the use of sustainable materials and technologies.
Nexos delivered a scalable conceptual modular design that could be adapted for Zero Petroleum’s future plans such as expansions and technology advancements.
From the delivery of detailed engineering for all facility components, to procurement that gave precedence to local supply chains, to phased construction plans that shortened the project timeline, nexos’ project management and delivery ensured the new Plant Zero.1 facility was delivered in time and within budget to help Zero position itself in as a leader in the in synthetic fuels market.
